How To Make Barbecued Pork with Sage, Lemon & Prosciutto

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless pork chops
  • 8 slices of prosciutto
  • 8 fresh sage leaves
  • 1 lemon, zested and juiced
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.

  2. Season the pork chops with salt, pepper, and minced garlic.

  3. Wrap each pork chop with 2 slices of prosciutto, securing with toothpicks if needed.

  4. Place the wrapped pork chops on the grill and cook for 6-8 minutes per side, or until cooked through and the prosciutto is crispy.

  5. While the pork chops are grilling, combine the lemon zest, lemon juice, and sage leaves in a small bowl.

  6. Brush the lemon and sage mixture onto the pork chops during the last few minutes of grilling.

  7. Remove the pork chops from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.

  8. Serve the barbecued pork chops with your favorite sides.

  9. Enjoy!
