  • 1 cup apple cider vinegar

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, combine the apple cider vinegar, sugar, and salt. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring until the sugar and salt have dissolved.

  2. Place the sliced onions in a jar or container with a tight-fitting lid.

  3. Pour the hot vinegar mixture over the onions, ensuring they are completely submerged. Let cool to room temperature.

  4. Cover the jar or container with a lid and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, but preferably overnight, before serving.
