- 2 red onions, thinly sliced
- 1 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 cup white sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt

In a small saucepan, combine the apple cider vinegar, sugar, and salt. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring until the sugar and salt have dissolved.

Pour the hot vinegar mixture over the onions, ensuring they are completely submerged. Let cool to room temperature.
