How To Make Low Calorie Lemon Bars Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp lemon zest
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.

  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, powdered sugar and cornstarch.

  3. Add melted butter and stir until well combined.

  4. Press the mixture into the bottom of a lined 8×8 inch baking pan.

  5. Bake for 10 minutes or until lightly golden.

  6. While the crust is baking, whisk together lemon juice, lemon zest, eggs, granulated sugar, baking powder and salt in a bowl.

  7. Pour the mixture over the baked crust.

  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes until the filling is set and no longer jiggly.

  9. Let it cool to room temperature before cutting into bars.

  10. Serve the lemon bars and enjoy!
