How To Make Low Calorie Lemon Bars Recipe
Tangy and light, these low calorie lemon bars will satisfy your sweet cravings without the guilt.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp powdered sugar
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1 tbsp lemon zest
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 tsp baking powder
- Pinch of salt
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F.

In a bowl, whisk together flour, powdered sugar and cornstarch.

Add melted butter and stir until well combined.

Press the mixture into the bottom of a lined 8×8 inch baking pan.

Bake for 10 minutes or until lightly golden.

While the crust is baking, whisk together lemon juice, lemon zest, eggs, granulated sugar, baking powder and salt in a bowl.

Pour the mixture over the baked crust.

Bake for 20-25 minutes until the filling is set and no longer jiggly.

Let it cool to room temperature before cutting into bars.
