- 2 pound beef chuck roast
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 cup beef broth
- 4 medium potatoes, peeled and chopped
- 4 medium carrots, peeled and chopped
- 1 medium onion, chopped
Instructions

Season the beef roast with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and thyme.

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Brown the beef on all sides.
