  • 1 ½ cups gluten-free flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • ½ tsp ground cloves
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ½ cup molasses
  • ½ cup hot water
  • ¼ cup coconut oil, melted
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 1 egg

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking pan.

  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the gluten-free flour, baking soda, ground ginger, cinnamon, cloves, and salt.

  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the molasses, hot water, melted coconut oil, brown sugar, and egg.

  4. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing until well combined.

  5. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.

  6. Bake for 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

  7. Allow the gingerbread to cool before serving.
