How To Make Ham and Potato Soup Recipe
A creamy, comfort soup with tender potatoes and chunks of ham.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 4 cups of cubed potatoes
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 4 cups of chicken broth
- 1 cup of diced ham
- 1 cup of heavy cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

In a large pot, sauté onion and garlic in oil until translucent.

Add cubed potatoes and broth. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to a simmer and cook until potatoes are tender.

Add diced ham and simmer for 3-5 minutes.

Puree half the soup using an immersion blender or transfer half to a blender and pulse until smooth.

Add pureed soup back to the pot, then add heavy cream. Stir until combined.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.
