How To Make Ham and Cheddar Biscuits Recipe
Delicious Ham and Cheddar Biscuits made from scratch, perfect for breakfast or as a snack.

Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 and 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 3/4 tsp baking soda
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
- 1 cup buttermilk, cold
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup ham, diced
Instructions

Preheat oven to 425°F.

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and black pepper.

Add cold butter, and use a pastry cutter or your fingers to mix until it resembles coarse meal.

Stir in buttermilk until dough comes together.

Fold in cheddar cheese and ham.

Transfer dough onto a floured surface, pat it into a rectangle, and then fold it like a letter.

Rotate dough 90 degrees, and fold again like a letter.

Use a biscuit cutter to cut out biscuits and place them on a baking sheet.

Bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown, and then remove from the oven.

Serve hot with butter or your favorite condiment.
