This date smoothie combines brown rice, bananas, and dates for a filling and satisfying drink.

  • cup brown rice, cooked and cooled
  • 4 oz bananas, ripe, peeled
  • oz dates, pitted
  • 2 cups plant-based milk, of your choice, preferably almond milk, avoid using coconut milk
  • ½ cup orange juice
  • cup ice cubes
  • ¼ tsp ground cinnamon

For Garnish:

  • ground cinnamon, or cinnamon sugar


  1. Puree all ingredients together.

  2. Portion accordingly, dust with ground cinnamon or cinnamon sugar, and serve.
