How To Make Mulled Pomegranate Juice

Ingredients

  • 4 cups pomegranate juice
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 4 whole cloves
  • 1 orange, sliced
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • Optional: 1/4 cup rum or vodka for an adult version

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine pomegranate juice, cinnamon stick, cloves, orange slices, honey, and grated ginger.

  2. Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally.

  3. Reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for 10 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.

  4. If desired, stir in rum or vodka.

  5. Remove from heat and strain the juice to remove the spices and orange slices.

  6. Serve warm in mugs garnished with a cinnamon stick or orange slice.
