How To Make Watermelon Juice

What’s better than sipping on a cool watermelon juice on a hot summer day? Enjoy the sweet taste of the watermelon in just 10 minutes with our recipe!

Ingredients

  • 1small watermelon,sweet, about a 6½-lb watermelon
  • 1small lime,juiced, optional

Instructions

  1. Slice the watermelon in half. Using a big spoon, scoop chunks of sweet watermelon into the blender. Discard the rind.

  2. Blend the watermelon for not more than 1 minute until it is totally pulverized.

  3. For extra flavor, squeeze the juice of one small lime into the blender, and blend for a few seconds.

  4. If your watermelon is notably pulpy or seeded, pour the mixture through a fine-mesh strainer into a pitcher. If not, you can pour it directly into glasses filled with ice.

  5. Keep the watermelon juice in the refrigerator, covered, for up to 4 days.

Recipe Notes

The juice will separate over time. Stir it with a spoon to recombine.
