Ingredients

For Dalgona Coffee:

  • 2tbspinstant coffee
  • 2tbspgranulated sugar
  • ¼cupboiling water

For Simple Syrup:

  • ¼cupwater
  • ¼cupgranulated sugar

For Coffee Martini:

  • 1cupice
  • 4ozvodka
  • 2ozcoffee liqueur,such as Kahlúa®
  • 1ozsimple syrup

Instructions

Dalgona Coffee:

  1. n a large bowl, combine the instant coffee, sugar, and boiling water. Whisk or beat with an electric hand mixer for about 2 minutes or until the mixture increases in volume and medium to stiff peaks form. Set aside.

Simple Syrup:

  1. In a small saucepan, combine the water and sugar and bring to a boil. Simmer for 1to 2 minutes, until the sugar is dissolved. Let cool to room temperature before using. This will take about 30 minutes.

Coffee Martini:

  1. In a cocktail shaker or resealable jar, combine the ice, vodka, coffee liqueur, and simple syrup and shake for 30 seconds, until well combined and cold.

  2. Strain the cocktail between 2 martini glasses. Dollop the dalgona coffee on top of the cocktail and spread evenly to the edges of the glass.

  3. Stir the dalgona coffee into the cocktail before drinking.
