You only need whipping cream, oranges, and gingernut cookies to make this no-bake gingernut trifle recipe, for a delectably creamy and zesty dessert!

Ingredients

  • 2cupsheavy whipping cream,chilled
  • 11ozmandarin oranges,(1 can), drained, liquid reserved
  • 8ozginger nut cookies biscuits,(1 package)

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, whip the cream until stiff. Place a thin layer of whipped cream on the bottom of an 8×8-inch glass bowl, or baking dish.

  2. Dip ⅓ of the ginger biscuits into the reserved juice from the can of oranges one at a time, and place in a single layer over the whipped cream.

  3. Place about ⅓ of the mandarin orange segments in a layer over the biscuits. Repeat layers, soaking each biscuit in the juice and ending with whipped cream on the top.

  4. Smooth the top of the dish with a palette knife or large spatula.

  5. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to let the flavors mingle.

  6. Serve and enjoy.
