How To Make Tiramisu Trifle

- 12 ladyfingers
- 1 cup strong brewed coffee, cooled
- 1/4 cup coffee liqueur (optional)
- 8 oz mascarpone cheese
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 tbsp cocoa powder, for dusting
Instructions

In a shallow dish, combine the cooled coffee and coffee liqueur, if using. Dip each ladyfinger into the coffee mixture, then line the bottom of 4 serving glasses or bowls with 3 soaked ladyfingers each.

In a mixing bowl, whisk together the mascarpone cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.

In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until well combined.

Spoon a layer of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers in each serving glass or bowl. Repeat the layers, ending with a layer of the mascarpone mixture.

Dust the top of each tiramisu trifle with cocoa powder. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving.
