How To Make Maple Puff Pastry Tarts

Spread blue cheese and cream cheese mixture over these warm maple puff then topped with sliced pears then drizzled with maple syrup upon serving.

Ingredients

  • puff pastry,thawed, 1 sheet
  • 1cupblue cheese,crumbled
  • 4ozcream cheese,softened
  • 2ripe pears,thinly sliced
  • maple syrup,for drizzling

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.

  2. Place puff pastry on a large baking sheet and prick it all over with a fork (leaving a 1-inch border).

  3. Bake until puffy and lightly golden for 10 to 12 minutes.

  4. In a medium bowl, mix together blue cheese and cream cheese until smooth.

  5. Spread mixture over warm puff pastry.

  6. Scatter with pears and bake until cheese is melty and pastry is deeply golden, for 20 minutes.

  7. Drizzle with maple syrup and cut into squares.
