  • 2 cups of stollen bread, cut into cubes
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup of granulated sugar
  • 1/2 tsp of vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp of ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp of ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp of salt
  • 1/4 cup of chopped almonds
  • 1/4 cup of golden raisins
  • Powdered sugar, for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and grease a baking dish.

  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.

  3. Add the stollen bread cubes, chopped almonds, and golden raisins to the bowl. Mix well to combine.

  4. Pour the mixture into the greased baking dish and press down gently to ensure the bread is evenly soaked.

  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the pudding is golden brown and set in the center.

  6. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
