How To Make Baked Cardamom-Scented Rice Pudding with Oranges in Honey & Pomegranate Syrup

Ingredients
- 1 cup arborio rice
- 4 cups milk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom
- Zest of 1 orange
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1/4 cup pomegranate seeds
- 2 oranges, peeled and segmented
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C).

In an oven-safe pot, combine the rice, milk, sugar, cardamom, and orange zest.

Stir well and bring to a simmer over medium heat.

Once simmering, cover the pot and transfer it to the preheated oven.

Bake for 1 hour, or until the rice is tender and the pudding is creamy.

In the meantime, prepare the syrup by combining the honey and pomegranate seeds in a small saucepan.

Cook over low heat for 5 minutes until the syrup thickens slightly.
