  • 1 pie crust
  • 2 ripe mangoes, peeled and diced
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp butter, cut into small pieces

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. Place pie crust into a 9-inch pie dish and set aside.

  3. In a large bowl, mix together mangoes, cornstarch, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, and lemon juice.

  4. Pour mango mixture into the pie crust and dot with butter.

  5. Place pie in the oven and bake for 45 minutes, until the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbling.

  6. Let the pie cool for at least 10 minutes before serving.
