Ingredients

  • 1 pre-made pie crust
  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 3 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups fresh mixed fruit (such as strawberries, blueberries, and kiwi)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven and bake pie crust according to package instructions.

  2. In a saucepan, whisk together heavy cream, milk, sugar, and cornstarch.

  3. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens (about 10 minutes).

  4. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.

  5. Slice bananas and place them on the bottom of the pie crust.

  6. Pour the cream mixture over the bananas, making sure to cover them completely.

  7. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours.

  8. Top with fresh fruit before serving.
