How To Make Apple Fruit Pie
Delicious homemade Apple Fruit Pie made with fresh apples and a buttery pastry crust.

Ingredients
- 4 cups of thinly sliced apples
- 1/4 cup of brown sugar
- 1/4 cup of granulated sugar
- 1 tbsp of ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp of ground nutmeg
- 2 tbsp of unsalted butter
- 9-inch pie crust (homemade or store-bought)
Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F.

In a large bowl, combine sliced apples, brown sugar, granulated sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Mix until apples are fully coated.

Place the apple mixture into the 9-inch pie crust.

Break unsalted butter into small pieces and place them evenly over the apples.

Cover the pie with the second layer of pie crust and seal the edges with your fingers.

Cut slits into the top crust to release steam.

Bake for 50 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbling.

Let the pie cool for 10-15 minutes before serving.
