There’s nothing like a sundae on a hot summer day. This delicious and traditional ice cream sundae recipe can be easily perfected at home with this quick and easy recipe.

Ingredients

  • 3 scoops vanilla ice cream, roughly 2 cups
  • ¼ cup butterscotch syrup
  • 4 oz cake of your choice, cubed
  • 4 oz mixed fruits of your choice, fresh, chopped, or drained canned fruit cocktail

To Serve:

  • ¼ oz whipped cream, per serving
  • oz cherry, per serving
  • 1 tbsp popcorn, per serving

Instructions

  1. In a tall glass, add the following in this order: 1 scoop ice cream, 2 tablespoons of butterscotch syrup, and 2 ounces each of cake and fruits.

  2. Repeat until you have another layer of ice cream, syrup, cake, and fruits.

  3. Top with your last ice cream scoop and another 2 tablespoons of syrup.

  4. Garnish with whipped cream, popcorn, and cherries. Serve.
