How To Make Lemon Ice

Ingredients
- 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup sugar
- Lemon zest, for garnish
Instructions

In a small saucepan, combine water and sugar. Heat over medium heat until sugar is dissolved, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and let cool.

In a large pitcher, mix together the cooled sugar syrup and lemon juice.

Pour the mixture into a shallow dish and freeze for about 2 hours, or until partially frozen.

Remove from freezer and use a fork to break up the ice. Return to the freezer and freeze for another 2 hours, repeating the process of breaking up the ice every hour.

Serve the lemon ice in chilled glasses, garnished with lemon zest.
