  • 1 cup of medium-grain white rice
  • 2 cups of whole milk
  • 1/4 cup of sugar
  • 1/2 tsp of cinnamon
  • 1 tsp of vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup of heavy cream

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, bring the rice, milk, sugar, and cinnamon to a boil over medium-high heat.

  2. Reduce the heat to low, cover the saucepan and let the mixture simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  3. Stir in the vanilla extract and heavy cream, then continue cooking for an additional 5 minutes.

  4. Divide the pudding evenly amongst serving bowls and serve warm or chilled.
