How To Make Halloween Chocolate Chip Cookies

Chocolate chip cookies get some Halloween treatment in this recipe. It’s the same soft and chewy cookies you love but with a spooky twist.

Cooking: 8 minutes
Chill Time: 30 minutes
Total: 45 minutes

Ingredients

  • cupflour
  • 1tspsalt
  • 1tspbaking soda
  • ½cupbutter,softened
  • ½cupcrisco
  • 1cupbrown sugar
  • 1cupsugar
  • 2eggs
  • 2tspvanilla
  • 1bagchocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Mix flour, salt and soda in a bowl and set aside.

  2. In a mixer, cream butter and shortening together. Add sugars and mix well.

  3. Add eggs and vanilla until fluffy.

  4. Add chocolate chips and mix well but do not overmix.

  5. Add flour/salt/soda mixture until it is all combined.

  6. Scoop dough onto a greased baking sheet and refrigerate for 30 to 40 minutes.

  7. Bake at 350 degrees F for 8 to 10 minutes. Enjoy!
