Pumpkin Dump Cake Recipe

This pumpkin dump cake recipe will be a lifesaver when you’re running around the kitchen trying to get ready for Thanksgiving. You can just mix up the ingredients, pop in the oven and let it bake!

How To Make Pumpkin Dump Cake

  • 29 oz pumpkin puree
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar (packed )
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 12 oz evaporated milk
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/4 tsp ground cloves
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 18 ¼ oz spice cake mix
  • 1/2 cup pecans (coarsely chopped )
  • 1/2 cup butter (melted)
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9×13 inch pan.

  2. In a large bowl, combine pumpkin puree, eggs, brown sugar, white sugar and milk.

  3. Stir in cinnamon, ginger, cloves and salt.

  4. Pour batter into pan. Sprinkle dry cake mix evenly over the pumpkin filling.

  5. Sprinkle pecans over the cake mix. Drizzle melted butter over everything.

  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 50-60 minutes, or until the edges are lightly browned. Allow to cool before serving.
