How To Make Ice Cream Cake

This three-ingredient ice cream cake recipe is layers of vanilla pound cake, strawberry ice cream, and chocolate ice cream that’s perfect for any occasion.

Preparation: 15 minutes

Freeze Time: 4 hours
Total: 4 hours 15 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1Vanilla Pound Cake,Link to recipe below
  • cupschocolate ice cream,slightly softened
  • cupsstrawberry ice cream,slightly softened

Instructions

  1. Slice the pound cake horizontally into three pieces.

  2. Line the pan with plastic wrap and place the bottom piece of pound cake back in.

  3. Add the chocolate ice cream over the layer evenly then place the middle cake layer on top.

  4. Add the strawberry ice cream evenly over the layer then place the top cake layer on top.

  5. Wrap the plastic wrap tightly over the cake and re-freeze for at least 4 hours before serving.

  6. Top with your favorite dessert toppings.
