How To Make Chocolate Yogurt Cake

This chocolate yogurt cake skips the butter and uses yogurt to make a fluffy and moist cake, full of rich and decadent chocolate flavor in every bite.

Ingredients

  • 1cupplain Greek yogurt,full fat
  • 3largelarge eggs
  • 2tsppure vanilla extract
  • ½cupvegetable oil
  • 1cupflour
  • ½cupdark cocoa powder
  • 2tspbaking powder
  • ½tspsalt
  • 1cupwhite sugar
  • 1cupsemisweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Spray a springform pan with baking spray.

  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the yogurt, eggs, oil and vanilla.

  3. Sift together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, salt, and sugar in a bowl, then them add to the wet ingredients. Stir until just combined.

  4. Fold in half the chocolate chips, then pour batter into a springform pan. Top with remaining chocolate chips.

  5. Bake for 40 to 45 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

  6. Serve warm, and enjoy!
