How To Make Tunisian Merguez Sausage Recipe

A spicy and flavorful sausage made with ground lamb and a blend of Tunisian spices.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground lamb
  • 2 tbsp harissa paste
  • 1 tbsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground lamb with all of the seasonings and mix well.

  2. Take a small piece of the lamb mixture and roll it between your palms to create a sausage shape. Repeat until all of the mixture is used.

  3. Heat a grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. Add the sausages and cook for 5-7 minutes per side, or until cooked through.

  4. Serve hot with your favorite sides or on a roll as a sandwich.
