How To Make Korean BBQ Chicken Marinade

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup rice vinegar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ginger, grated
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp gochujang (Korean red pepper paste)
- 1 tbsp mirin (Japanese rice wine)
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
- 4 chicken breasts
Instructions

In a bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, rice vinegar, minced garlic, grated ginger, sesame oil, gochujang, mirin, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Mix well.

Place chicken breasts in a ziplock bag and pour the marinade over them. Seal the bag and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best results.

Preheat grill or oven to medium-high heat.

Remove chicken from marinade and discard excess marinade.

Grill chicken for about 10 minutes per side, or bake in the oven at 400°F (200°C) for 20-25 minutes, or until cooked through.

Serve hot with rice and your choice of side dishes.
