Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 yellow onion, diced
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
- 1 cup beef broth
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 cups mashed potatoes
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain the excess fat.

Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet and cook until softened.

Stir in the frozen mixed vegetables, beef broth, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, dried thyme, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.

Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and spread the mashed potatoes evenly over the top.

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the mashed potatoes are golden and the filling is bubbling.

Allow the shepherd’s pie to cool for a few minutes before serving.
