Ingredients

  • 1 pound spaghetti
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente.

  2. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and red pepper flakes, sauté for 1-2 minutes.

  3. Add shrimp, salt, and black pepper, cook for 5 minutes or until the shrimp turn pink.

  4. Drain spaghetti and add it to the skillet with shrimp. Toss until well coated in the sauce.

  5. Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley over the top, stirring to combine everything.

  6. Serve hot with additional Parmesan cheese and parsley if desired.
