How To Make Sara Lee’s Danish Pastry Recipe
Homemade Danish pastry, flaky and buttery, with a sweet filling – perfect for breakfast or a snack.

Ingredients
- 1 sheet puff pastry
- 1/4 cup cream cheese
- 1/4 cup fruit preserves
- 1 egg, beaten
- Powdered sugar, for garnish
Instructions

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Roll out puff pastry and cut into 4 equal rectangles.

Spread cream cheese and preserves onto each rectangle, leaving some space around the edges.

Fold one corner over to the opposite corner, forming a triangle. Press the edges together with a fork.

Brush with beaten egg and place on baking sheet.

Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown.

Allow to cool for a few minutes, sprinkle with powdered sugar, and serve warm.
