How To Make Macaroni Grill’s Penne Rustica Recipe
Creamy penne pasta with grilled chicken, shrimp, prosciutto, and vegetables in a rich tomato cream sauce.

Ingredients
- 1 pound penne pasta
- 4 chicken breasts, grilled and sliced
- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 slices prosciutto, diced
- 1 red bell pepper, diced
- 1 green bell pepper, diced
- 1 onion, diced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for cooking
Instructions

Cook penne pasta according to package instructions.

In a large skillet or wok, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.

Add prosciutto, bell peppers, onion, and garlic. Saute for 2-3 minutes or until vegetables are soft.

Add shrimp and cook for another 2-3 minutes or until shrimp turn pink.

Add sliced chicken, cooked penne pasta, heavy cream, and Parmesan cheese. Stir well.

Reduce heat to medium-low and let simmer for 5-7 minutes or until sauce thickens.

Season with salt and pepper, and sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley.
