How To Make Liam’s French Fries Recipe

Ingredients
- 4 large russet potatoes, peeled and cut into fries
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil for frying

Preheat oven to 250°F.

Soak cut potatoes in cold water for 30 minutes, then drain and pat dry with a towel.

In a bowl, mix cornstarch, flour, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.

Toss potatoes with the cornstarch mixture to evenly coat.

Heat vegetable oil in a large frying pan over medium-high heat. Cook potatoes in batches until golden and crispy, about 5-7 minutes.

Drain fries on paper towels and sprinkle with salt. Keep warm in the oven while cooking the remaining batches.
