How To Make Kermit’s Blackened Fish Recipe

A spicy Cajun dish with a crispy crust on perfectly cooked fish.

  • 4 (6 oz) skinless fish fillets
  • 2 tbsp paprika
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat a large skillet over high heat.

  2. Mix all the spices and salt together in a bowl

  3. Brush the fish with olive oil and then coat both sides of each fillet with the spice mixture.

  4. Place the fish in the hot skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, until the blackened crust forms.

  5. Serve immediately.
