  • 4 boneless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • Lemon slices, for garnish
  • Chopped parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.

  2. Combine flour, salt, and pepper in a shallow bowl.

  3. Dredge chicken in the flour mixture, shaking off any excess.

  4. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat.

  5. Add chicken and cook until golden brown on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.

  6. Remove chicken from skillet, and place on a baking dish.

  7. Pour chicken broth and lemon juice over the chicken.

  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.

  9. Garnish with lemon slices and chopped parsley before serving.
