Ingredients

  • 4 chicken drumsticks
  • 4 pork ribs
  • 1 cup ginger beer
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ginger, grated
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together ginger beer, soy sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, brown sugar, vegetable oil, salt, and pepper.

  2. Place chicken drumsticks and pork ribs in a ziplock bag and pour the marinade over them. Seal the bag and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.

  3. Preheat grill or oven to medium-high heat.

  4. Remove the chicken and ribs from the marinade, allowing any excess to drip off. Reserve the marinade for basting.

  5. Grill or bake the chicken and ribs for about 30-40 minutes, turning occasionally and basting with the marinade, until they are cooked through and nicely charred.

  6. Serve the ginger beer chicken and ribs hot with your favorite side dishes.
