How To Make Miami Avocado Crab Toast

Start the day with this refreshing avocado crab toast. It comes with toasted whole-grain bread, cilantro, and spices finished with a dash of olive oil.

  • 1ozhaas avocado,(about ¼ small)
  • 2ozcooked lump crab meat
  • 1tbspchopped fresh cilantro,divided
  • ½small lime,juiced
  • 1small green onion,thinly sliced, green and whites separated
  • kosher salt
  • freshly ground black pepper,to taste
  • 1.5oz100% whole grain bread,(1 slice), toasted
  • 1small radish,trimmed and thinly sliced
  • paprika
  • ½tspextra-virgin olive oil


  1. In a small bowl, mash avocado with a fork until smooth.

  2. In another small bowl, combine crab, 2 teaspoons cilantro, lime juice, onion whites, a pinch of salt and pepper.

  3. Spread avocado evenly over toast, top with crab mixture, radish, remaining cilantro, green onion, a sprinkle of paprika, a pinch of salt, pepper, and a drizzle of olive oil.

  4. Cut in half and serve immediately.
