You only need five ingredients to whip up this easy popovers recipe! Achieve light and buttery popovers, with a delightfully crispy exterior in no time.

Ingredients

  • 1cupall purpose flour
  • ¼tspsalt
  • 3eggs
  • 1cupmilk
  • 1tbspunsalted butter,melted
  • 2tbspunsalted butter,chilled

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F.

  2. Spray a popover pan with nonstick cooking spray. Place the pan on center rack of oven and preheat for 2 minutes.

  3. Blend the flour, salt, eggs, milk, and melted butter for about 1 to 2 minutes until it looks like heavy cream.

  4. Cut the chilled butter into 6 even pieces. Place 1 piece of butter in each cup and place the pan back in the oven for about 1 minute until the butter is bubbly.

  5. Fill each cup half full with batter, then bake for 20 minutes. Reduce the heat to 325 degrees F and bake for another 15 to 20 minutes.

  6. Serve and enjoy.
