How To Make Popovers

These light and airy popovers are the perfect addition to any meal.

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp melted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) and grease a popover pan or muffin tin.

  2. In a medium bowl, whisk the eggs until frothy.

  3. Gradually add in the flour, milk, salt, and melted butter, whisking until smooth.

  4. Fill each popover cup about 3/4 full with the batter.

  5. Bake for 20 minutes, then reduce the oven temperature to 350°F (180°C) and continue baking for an additional 10 minutes, or until the popovers are puffed and golden brown.

  6. Remove from the oven and poke a small hole in each popover to release steam. Serve immediately.
