How To Make Green Tomato BLT Recipe

A twist on the classic BLT sandwich using fried green tomatoes!

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 8 slices of bacon
  • 2 large green tomatoes, sliced
  • 1/2 cup of flour
  • 1 tsp of paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 4 slices of your favorite bread
  • 4 tbsp of mayonnaise
  • 4 leaves of lettuce

Instructions

  1. Fry bacon in a pan until crispy. Set aside.

  2. In a bowl, mix flour, paprika, salt, and pepper.

  3. Heat oil in a pan. Coat tomato slices in flour mixture and fry until golden brown. Set aside.

  4. Toast bread slices until lightly brown. Spread mayonnaise on each slice.

  5. On each sandwich, place lettuce, bacon, and fried green tomatoes.
