How To Make Bacon & Citrus Crumb Stuffing

Stuffing is a great add-on to your main dishes. More than just something to fill the turkey with during Thanksgiving, stuffing is a wonderful side dish to complement your dish of choice. There’s no stopping you in enjoying this stuffing recipe!

  • 6 slices of bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • Zest of 1 orange
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • Salt and pepper, to taste


  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. In a skillet, cook the bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove from the skillet and place on paper towels to drain excess grease.

  3. In a medium bowl, combine the breadcrumbs, orange zest, lemon zest, parsley, melted butter, and cooked bacon. Season with salt and pepper.

  4. Spoon the stuffing mixture into a baking dish, spreading it evenly.

  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and crispy.

  6. Serve hot and enjoy with your favorite roast.
