How To Make Chestnut, Bacon & Cranberry Stuffing Recipe
Stuffing is a great add-on to your main dishes. More than just something to fill the turkey with during Thanksgiving, stuffing is a wonderful side dish to complement your dish of choice. There’s no stopping you in enjoying this stuffing recipe!

Ingredients
- 6 slices of bacon, chopped
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 stalks of celery, diced
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 cup of chopped chestnuts
- 1/2 cup of dried cranberries
- 4 cups of day-old bread, cubed
- 2 cups of chicken or vegetable broth
- 1/4 cup of fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

In a large skillet, cook the bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove the bacon from the skillet and set aside, leaving the bacon grease in the skillet.

Add the onion, celery, and garlic to the skillet and cook until the vegetables are tender.

Add the chopped chestnuts and dried cranberries to the skillet and cook for an additional 2 minutes.

In a large bowl, combine the cooked bacon, vegetable mixture, bread cubes, and parsley. Season with salt and pepper.

Pour the chicken or vegetable broth over the bread mixture and mix until well combined.

Transfer the stuffing to a greased baking dish and cover with aluminum foil.

Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30 minutes covered, then remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until the top is crispy and golden.

Serve hot as a delicious side dish for your holiday meal.
