Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Optional toppings: chopped green onions, sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium heat.

  2. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.

  3. Add cooked rice and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes, breaking up any clumps.

  4. Drizzle soy sauce over the rice and season with salt and black pepper.

  5. Continue to stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes until the rice is well-coated and heated through.

  6. Remove from heat and garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds, if desired.

  7. Serve hot as a side dish or as a main course.
