How To Make Classic Turkey and Rice Soup

- 1 cup cooked turkey, shredded
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1 carrot, diced
- 1 celery stalk, diced
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 bay leaf
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add diced onion, carrot, celery, and minced garlic. Cook until vegetables are tender, about 5 minutes.

Add shredded turkey, cooked rice, bay leaf, and chicken broth to the pot. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and let simmer for 30 minutes.

Season with salt and pepper to taste. Remove the bay leaf before serving.
