Ingredients

  • 12 oz pasta
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 medium sized tomatoes, diced
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions.

  2. Meanwhile, heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat.

  3. Add minced garlic to the pan and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.

  4. Add diced tomatoes, salt, and black pepper to the pan and cook for 5 minutes until tomatoes are softened.

  5. Stir in fresh basil leaves and cooked pasta. Toss to combine.

  6. Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese on top before serving.
