How To Make Spicy Arrabbiata Pasta Recipe

A fiery tomato pasta with a punch of garlic and red chili flakes, perfect for spice lovers.

  • 1 pound of penne pasta
  • 1 can of crushed tomatoes (28 oz)
  • 4 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp of red chili flakes
  • 2 tbsp of olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil leaves, chopped


  1. Boil the pasta in salted water until al dente, then drain and set aside.

  2. In a pan, heat the olive oil and sauté the garlic and red chili flakes until fragrant.

  3. Add the crushed tomatoes, salt and pepper to the pan and let it simmer for 10 minutes.

  4. Add the cooked pasta to the tomato sauce and mix well.

  5. Toss in some fresh basil leaves.

  6. Serve hot, garnished with more basil leaves.
