How To Make Spinach and Ricotta Stuffed Shells Recipe
Delicious jumbo pasta shells stuffed with a creamy spinach and ricotta mixture.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 16 jumbo pasta shells
- 2 cups spinach, chopped
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 cup marinara sauce
Instructions

Cook pasta shells according to package instructions, until al dente.

In a large mixing bowl, combine spinach, ricotta cheese, parmesan cheese, egg, garlic, salt, and pepper.

Stuff each pasta shell with the spinach and ricotta mixture.

Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish.

Arrange stuffed pasta shells in a single layer in the baking dish.

Pour remaining marinara sauce over the top of the pasta shells.

Cover baking dish with foil and bake in preheated oven at 375°F for 30 minutes.

Remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, until the top is golden and bubbly.
