How To Make Coconut Barfi Recipe

A traditional Indian sweet made with coconut, milk, and sugar.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups grated coconut
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp cardamom powder
  • 2 tbsp ghee
  • 2 tbsp chopped pistachios (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a pan, mix coconut, milk, and sugar and cook on medium heat until it thickens.

  2. Add cardamom powder and ghee and cook until it leaves the pan sides.

  3. Pour the mixture into a greased tray and make it even.

  4. Garnish with pistachios and let it cool.

  5. Cut into pieces and serve.
