How To Make Andouille Sausage and Tomato Pasta Recipe
A hearty and flavorful pasta dish with spicy Andouille sausage and sweet cherry tomatoes.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 12 oz penne pasta
- 4 Andouille sausage links, sliced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 pint cherry tomatoes, halved
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh basil leaves, chopped
Instructions

Cook pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

In a large skillet over medium heat, add the olive oil and sliced sausage. Cook for 5-6 minutes until browned.

Add the garlic, red pepper flakes, cherry tomatoes, salt, and pepper. Cook for another 5-6 minutes until the tomatoes have burst and created a sauce.

Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss everything together. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese and chopped basil on top before serving.
